When Claire was only two weeks we decided to take a road trip. Her and I were both doing great so we decided to try it out. Our 1st stop was at my family's cabin on Beaver mountain. We only stayed there one night.
The rest of the family got to meet Claire.
Hunger Games sling shot competition! haha Everyone had a sling shot with 7 paint balls. There were more paint balls at the cornucopia (the fire pit). Everyone would go and hide in the woods and the game started when the bell would ring. You were out once you got hit. This was hilarious!

Then we drove to Panaca, NV for the Dalley family reunion. We camped there for the next two nights and the 1st night we were there it snowed! Luckily we were in Aaron's family camp trailer but it was still pretty cold. Not knowing that it was going to be cold I didn't pack Claire's warm clothes. We ended up using a beanie that we found in the trailer for her haha. In the middle of the night her nose started to run from the cold. And then there was a bunch of kids running around with runny noses and coughs. Steph and Gus also were throwing up the day we got there. Needless to say, I was kinda a nervous wreck. We still had a bunch of fun and all the Dalley's were able to meet Claire.

On our way home we stayed the night in Ely at the Hotel Nevada to shorten the trip a little. We wanted to ride the ghost train there but it wasn't running that day. So we went and checked out the copper mine that is there instead.
The day we headed home from our trip Aaron got a text from his mom saying that Trina had started to throw up. Then the next day Aaron got it and that night Claire woke up and was freaking out and wouldn't eat. We figured she caught it too. Aaron decided to give her a priesthood blessing and as soon as he was done she stopped crying, ate and went back to bed. It was seriously a miracle that happened right before our eyes. It brought us both to tears. We knew that Heavenly Father heard our prayers. What an amazing thing the priesthood is! I feel so blessed to have it in our home and to have a husband who honors it and is worthy to use it. I will never forget that night and will hold it close to my heart always.
I love reading your posts. You're priesthood blessing story brought tears to my eyes. I love your sweet family. Hugs
