We went on a very quick trip to AZ for my cousin's wedding. Aaron and I picked up Elli and Steven in Provo on Friday and drove down to NV. We got up early Sat morning and went to the Vegas airport along with my Dad and Brad. Elli kept saying how bad she wanted to gamble because she was now 21 haha! When we got to our gate at the airport of course there was some slot machines near by so we decided to try our luck and put in a few bucks. I was the only one who won anything. A whole $8! haha. Our flight ended up getting delayed so we enjoyed some cinnabun while playing rat-a-tat-cat.
After a quick 45 min flight we were in the beautiful AZ sun. We went to my Aunt and Uncles to say hi to everybody and see if they needed any help setting up but they had it all done! So then we went to my Grandma's to drop off our luggage and have lunch. Ryan, Alex and the girls were staying there too so we got to hang out with them for a bit and then it was time to head over to the wedding.
The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast. It was all held in their backyard and the weather was amazing! They had a D.J. and dance floor, yummy desserts and a photo booth. I loved seeing a bunch of our family and boogieing with them on the dance floor. It was so fun!
When we got back to my grandma's we wanted to cram in as much as we could. There was a bunch of tennis playing, we sat in the hot tub for a bit and watched a movie in the theater room and didn't end up going to bed till about two!
Sunday we woke up and had an amazing breakfast from my grandma with fresh squeezed orange juice from her orange trees. Then back to the airport. We flew into Vegas and drove back to Salt Lake that night. Longest day of traveling ever! But was so worth it!
